The history of VCE International dates back to 1993 and starts in a small English as a Second or Foreign Language School in the outskirts of Buenos Aires.
In those days, the planning and execution of a program that combined the study of a language with cultural activities in some of the most emblematic cities in Europe at age 21, being trusted with a group of under 18 students and without previous traveling experience outside Argentina, did not scare our fonder and CEO, Gabriela Ardito.

That first study abroad program was a complete success.

Our founder´s passion for the language and culture of all English-speaking countries - nurtured and built along two graduate degrees, over twenty years of teaching experience, a PhD in Modern Languages and several research projects related to Language Travel at Universidad del Salvador - added to the possibility of working in an environment in which different ethnic groups, traditions, customs and creeds coexist - gave birth to her growing appreciation and respect for the multiculturalism that characterizes cosmopolitan cities in the world at present.

The MoU signed with one of the most prestigious Language Schools in London in 1993 gave rise to agreements with educational institutions within the United Kingdom in Brighton, Cambridge, Edinburgh and many other cities, as well as in other destinations around the world.

At the end of the 1990´s, the number of students that joined our study abroad programs started to grow. Local High schools and English as a Second Language institutions became interested in our work philosophy, and we created a network of representatives to spread the word in different regions of Argentina.

Our founder´s teaching and research background at both college and university also contributed to the growth and expansion of all VCE programs, which later on applied for Quality English, English UK, IALC and ICEF membership.

VCE International was nominated as one of the five "Best Latin American Agencies" by Study Travel Magazine in 2017, and we intend to keep working in accordance with the the highest quality assurance parameters established by the industry.

VCE International is Founder and Full Member of ARSAA (Argentine Study Abroad Association)
