Using the Presentation Matrix: Up Your Public Speaking Game by Jill Hellman

We’re delighted to invite all ALTO members to join the last event of the year, which will be held online – yes, back to zoom for this one!

We will have a 45 minute webinar to give you some tips on how to up your public speaking game. This is not a beginners’ course. I advised Jill, our presenter whom many of you will remember from the Istanbul conference, that you have a pretty strong base in the field, but hopefully she will take you to the next level: as we know there’s always space for improvement.

The webinar will be followed by a networking chat with an e-cocktail or whatever is your choice of beverage to prepare for the Festivities!

Introducing our presenter:

Jill Hellman is a global innovation strategist and international speaker. She specializes in helping individuals or groups of any kind rethink, reimagine, and grow.

Professor Hellman has stood on top of the world in Greenland and Iceland addressing tourism ministers and educators from the Nordic nations, taken the stage in Finland before President Obama took the stage at a connected event, addressed world leaders from the Mediterranean on the idyllic island nation of Malta, was one of the U.S. citizens invited to speak to the business community in the country of Bulgaria, fundraised for private equity globally, advised on a new, digital retail strategy in the Middle East for a company that owns and operates 150 retail locations, executed strategic initiatives at a $19 Billion retailer in the U.S., grew hospitality investments while in Asia, and served as an external advisor working with the global head of innovation at McKinsey & Co. She has been a keynote speaker, advisor, facilitator, and trainer in more than 25 countries worldwide encompassing Western & Eastern Europe, the Nordic Region, the Middle East, Asia and North & South America. She has also appeared in books, blogs, online media, and television news. She holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

Session summary:

This highly interactive session will set attendees up for even more success in public speaking.  This is a great session for attendees who have quite a bit of experience in public speaking and want to go to the next level.  Beginners can also benefit from these advanced tactics as well.  Expect a lot of practical advice in a fun environment with an energetic presenter!

  • Use public speaking tactics in a variety of formats (from calls to meetings to presentations of 1,000 people)
